Full FM Stereo Conversions With MP3 or Ipod attachment

Tadpole Radios provide modern sound systems for classic cars without affecting the look and character of your car.

Modern car audio equipment is aesthetically incompatible in a classic car. The solution is to purchase a period radio which looks great and in keeping with the cars image and age. Unfortunately the sound quality, functionality and power output is very limited. No FM radio and only 2 watt crackly mono output. 94% of all radio broadcasting is now in FM only.

Period classic car radios have been professionally converted to a 100 watt per channel stereo FM Radios. The radios incorporate audio in connectors for attachment of MP3 or Ipod devices (lead supplied). Modern sound quality with real retro looks.

Radios have not simply been modified to take a external input and then reproduce in Mono using existing electronics (see EBAY listings). This is a full modern FM band radio conversion with a 100 Watt per channel output stage.

Aesthetically radios are the same in every respect to the original radio. The dial still illuminated when switched on. If the FM control is turned the tuner pointer still moves. Original control knobs are present but have been modified to give the following functions:-

Left Knob Volume Control
Right Knob FM Tuning (with digitallocking)
Preset Button One Radio On /Off
Preset Button TwoRadio / Ipod MP3 switching

Side Knob One Treble Control
Side Knob Two Bass Control

Radios are supplied with a lead which plugs into the back so your MP3 or IPOD can be hidden discreetly in a glove compartment or other area. (No dangling leads from the front of the radio).

Units are cosmetically excellent. Let the photos do the talking!

Technical Data and Features:
2 Chanel amplifier with 200 Watts max (2x100W peak power)
Full range Digital FM tuner.
Frequency range: 20-20.000Hz
Supply voltage: 10-15V
Distortion factor: 0.1%
Signal-to-noise ratio: 90dB
Negative Earth
Typical current consumption <1 Amps
In line fuse rated @ 2 Amps

Most 60s and 70s radios are the standard 7’ Wide, 2’ High by 6’ Deep. (inches).

1926 Dodge Huckster Woodie

1926 Dodge Huckster Woodie

                                                                           Price: $38,000

1926 Dodge Huckster Woodie. Dodge Brothers Huckster Woodie. Station wagon. Some call it a Huckster and others are calling it a Woodie Wagon I'm not sure what the proper term is and it's not stated on the vehicle's title. The car is originally from California. This is definitely a "one-of-a-kind" car. It was built from a sedan by Joe Silva in the Newark, CA area (near San Francisco) about 15 years ago. He is a great mechanic and does some pretty neat upgrades that aren't exactly "original", but sure make the car a lot more "user friendly", especially in today's driving conditions. The alternator, the fan, and the carburetor are not original or stock. Also, I believe he adapted the internals from a VW distributor to fit in the original housing. This way you can get parts easier. This was modeled after an old Cantrell Bodied Dodge, but was a home-built to whatever standards Joe wanted to use. He sold off all of his dodges and now does modified racing cars from the 1950's and 1960's. Hydraulic brakes. They aren't original, but sure make it easier to stop and get replacement brake parts for compared to what the car originally came with!

The horse cart was eventually turned into a means of public transportation. A pony drew the cart and passengers were charged RM 0.05 for every 1.6 km. The horse cart was .right side: Melaka Bullock Cart (Kereta Lembu Melaka). The traditional bullock cart is an accepted symbol of Melaka and is very much a part of the state's heritage. It has been around since the Melaka Sultanate of the 15th century. A pair of healthy bullocks would be able to pull a full cart for a distance of eight kilometers in an hour and half.
