1926 Dodge Huckster Woodie
Price: $38,000
1926 Dodge Huckster Woodie. Dodge Brothers Huckster Woodie. Station wagon. Some call it a Huckster and others are calling it a Woodie Wagon I'm not sure what the proper term is and it's not stated on the vehicle's title. The car is originally from California. This is definitely a "one-of-a-kind" car. It was built from a sedan by Joe Silva in the Newark, CA area (near San Francisco) about 15 years ago. He is a great mechanic and does some pretty neat upgrades that aren't exactly "original", but sure make the car a lot more "user friendly", especially in today's driving conditions. The alternator, the fan, and the carburetor are not original or stock. Also, I believe he adapted the internals from a VW distributor to fit in the original housing. This way you can get parts easier. This was modeled after an old Cantrell Bodied Dodge, but was a home-built to whatever standards Joe wanted to use. He sold off all of his dodges and now does modified racing cars from the 1950's and 1960's. Hydraulic brakes. They aren't original, but sure make it easier to stop and get replacement brake parts for compared to what the car originally came with!
